Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has backed Kai Havertz to be a success at the club despite an inconspicuous debut campaign so far. Havertz joined the Blues in a club-record £89million deal from Bayer Leverkusen in September - having scored 17 goals in 43 games across all competitions for the German club last season. 'I am pretty sure we will see [the Leverkusen Havertz], there is no short answer though,' Tuchel said at his press conference on Friday ahead of their Monday night Premier League home clash against Newcastle United. 'Hopefully he can come back in the next days because I am confident he can have a big impact.' Havertz featured in Tuchel's first two matches since he replaced Frank Lampard as manager last month but hasn't in the following three.
