KUALA LUMPUR: Port Dickson Bersatu chief Badrul Hisham Shaharin is seeking to set aside a High Court judgment ordering him and a YouTuber to pay RM550,000 in damages to businessman Datuk Seri Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak. Badrul Hisham currently resides in Seremban. Badrul Hisham said he was shocked to learn about the judgment but would continue with the court process to defend his rights. On Jan 29, High Court judicial commissioner Arziah Mohamed Apandi ordered Badrul Hisham and YouTube channel owner Nurpais Ismail to pay a total of RM550,000 in damages and costs. The award included RM300,000 in general damages, RM150,000 in aggravated damages and RM100,000 in exemplary damages.
