A dedicated warming center for the city is a big step; the church is to be commended. Having transportation to the center provided by Charis Church is a major plus. The church is in northeast Killeen; a warming center should be more centrally located. Even with transportation provided for residents, it’s likely to be underutilized. It’s a welcome step, but a network of churches across the city would be better.
