A Dhaka court has fixed July 13 for framing the charges against five accused in the Banani rape case. Dhaka’s Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal 2 Judge Md Saiful Azam fixed the new date on Sunday, in response to a time petition. Earlier in the day, accused Nayeem Ashraf’s lawyer Khairul Islam Liton filed a time petition with the court. All of the accused have given confessional statements before the court.
