Charge against driver who hit runner amended following her death - Nation
KLANG: The husband and friends of Evelyn Ang gathered outside the court where the charge against the driver who ran her over was amended. The driver, Teoh Thiam Lim, 28, was initially charged with reckless and dangerous driving on Feb 20. The charge has now been amended to causing death by reckless or dangerous driving, following Ang’s death. Dennis Loo – Ang’s husband – said the gathering was to make a stand against reckless driving. “We are here not only for Ang, but for every road user whose life is endangered because of reckless drivers,” he said.
