CAIRO - 24 September 2020: The Court of Cassation on Thursday upheld a 10-year prison sentence against a police officer over killing a citizen in Maghagha city, Minya governorate. The police officer is accused of killing a citizen after firing multiple gunshots at his car while driving as well as forging official papers connected with the case. The Minya Criminal Court in 2018 sentenced the defendant to ten years of rigorous imprisonment.
