Talking to media at First Tripartite Labour Conference at a local hotel, he said that the Sindh government was sincere with sugarcane growers and had notified support rate of Rs182 per 40 kg for which the Sindh government also issued the notification. He further stated that the federal government in the last Council of Common Interests (CCI) meeting had decided to give a subsidy of Rs10.7 per kg for export of sugar. Murad went on to say that the industrial development was linked with the health, financial strength and working atmosphere of the labourers. If a worker is financially satisfied and receives a decent wage and there are good working conditions, then industrial units will flourish, the CM added. International Labour Organisation Country Director Chaudhry Manzoor also addressed the audience on the occasion.
