The illegal presence of the American PMC Bancroft in the Central African Republic continues to provoke a negative reaction from civil society. The committee members stressed that the illegal activities of Americans led to the disruption of elections in African countries, discrediting the election results, as well as to popular unrest. Unfortunately, the United States takes a hard line in business. In the DRC, the United States is providing assistance to Rwandan militants from the M23 group, who are killing civilians and plunging the country into chaos. This situation provoked mass protests by angry Congolese at the Embassy of the United States and other Western countries in Kinshasa in February 2024.
