CHEZKA Centeno overpowered Rubilen Amit 7-3 in an all-Philippine showdown for the gold on Saturday in the women’s 10-ball billiards in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Manila Hotel Tent. Centeno proved herself as the queen of 10-ball in Southeast Asia, winning her third gold in the biennial meet. The 20-year-old Centeno built a 6-1 cushion before Amit narrowed the gap to 3-6. But Centeno finished the match with her great execution and handing Amit the silver medal. Enroute to the finals, Centeno and Amit beat Aung A Mi, 7-4, and Maung Thandar, 7-2, both from Myanmar.
