CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Misamis Oriental, Philippines — The suspect in the beheading of a woman in Talisayan, Misamis Oriental was shot dead by a police officer Friday night after the man grabbed a gun from one of his escorts and shot another officer. Aboard the other police vehicle were the witnesses and additional police escorts, said Maj. Dennis delos Santos, Jasaan police commander. When the convoy made a stop, Delos Santos said Bagtong asked that he be allowed to get down and take a leak. Delos Santos said the suspect managed to fire only one shot before he was shot by one of the escorts. ADVERTISEMENTBagtong took two bullets on his chest and one on his side, Delos Santos added.
