The Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, more popularly known as the Quiapo Church, announced on Saturday that it would hold daily masses via live streaming on “Facebook online” starting onSunday, March 15. Five daily masses will be livestreamed daily from Quiapo Church. The bishops of Manila, Cubao, Kalookan, Pasig, Novaliches, and Parañaue have agreed to have a unified response to the pandemic by suspending the holding of Masses and other Church activities. The prelate made the announcement during an online Mass from the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Makati City. Outside of Metro Manila, the Archdiocese of Bacolod has also issued a similar call to its parishes and dioceses.
