A case has been filed over the killing of a caretaker of a shrine who was stabbed to death in Noakhali’s Sonaimuri last week. A knife believed to have been used in the killing of 65-year-old Sona Mia has been recovered. Sona Mia had been serving as a caretaker of Afzal Shah Mazar for the last three years. His wife Nilufa Begum filed the case against the two attackers Elias, 24 and Sujan, 25, with Sonaimuri police on Thursday morning. Locals caught Elias when he was trying to flee after the murder.
