Arif Ahmed Chowdhury, the father of Abrar Ahmed Chowdhury – an honours first year student of BUP’s International Relations who was run over and killed on the spot by a Suprovat Paribahan bus while crossing the road using zebra crossing in front of Jamuna Future Park at Kuril on Tuesday – filed a case with the Gulshan police station on the same day. Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune, Gulshan police station Officer-in-Charge Abu Bakar Siddique said: "The deceased's father has filed a case with us. "Necessary steps will be taken upon further investigation."
