A cargo ship is sinking off the coast of the Bay of Bengal in the Sandwip Channel in Chittagong. Three containers of the ship have been washed away since the incident took place at around 11:30am on Thursday. The sailors of the ship “Pangaon Express” have been rescued. A rescue ship from the port has been sent to the spot to rescue the vessel. Meanwhile, a chartered tugboat along with port tugboat Kandari-11 has been dispatched.
