Almost all liquid products, including drinking water, are sold in plastic bottles in Bangladesh. Though these bottles harm the environment, they remain quite popular. Some factories in Dhaka recycle these plastic bottles for reuse, slightly reducing their environmental impact. The photo shows a woman working at a plastic recycling factory. She receives a daily wage of up to Tk 500.
