AFRICA’S most successful airline has selected Cargo.One to provide digital sales and bookings to the continent and to worldwide markets, writes Thelma Etim. From its Addis Ababa hub, Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services already operates more 68 dedicated freighter services including two weekly B777 freighter services returning from Shenzhen to Liège in Belgium. Mesfin Tasew, chief executive of Ethiopian Airlines Group, says digital sales will become a vital part of its future. “Joining forces with Cargo.One is the natural choice [for us] when looking for an experienced partner to enable our transition to digital sales,” he says. Cargo.One as a partner shares our own passion and drive to help boost Ethiopian Cargo to become a digital cargo role model not only for Africa, but internationally,” he adds.
