The Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara, in partnership with the Eskisehir Chamber of Industry, organized a business forum in Eskişehir, Turkey, on May 10, 2023. During the event, Ethiopian Ambassador to Turkey, Adem Mohammed, encouraged Turkish investors to explore trade and investment opportunities in Ethiopia emphasizing that the forum was aimed at strengthening the trade and investment relationship between the two countries. The forum was attended by Turkish investors from various sectors, including manufacturing, construction, energy, and agriculture. In addition to the business forum, Ethiopian delegates visited several industries in Eskişehir, Turkey, including TURAN agricultural machinery manufacturing industry, SARAR textile industry, ASLAN TAHIN, BESA, and ZELL furniture manufacturing industries. Bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Ethiopia amounted to USD 398.8 million in 2019.
