The company hopes the deal will be a key platform for it to grow internationally in the wake of the saturated domestic market. Under this three-year agreement, the EFL Cup will be known as the Carabao Cup, starting from next season. The group will pay the first instalment of 5 million pounds in the first year of the deal, followed by 6 million pounds and 7 million pounds in the second and third years.
