Police in Bardhaman and Ranchi have mounted a search for the trace-less car owner. "Taskeen met the buyers outside his house on August 25 and accompanied them for the test drive. God knows what happened after that," relatives of the victim have told Ranchi police.A few locals in Salgadih were alarmed to see the abandoned car in the evening. The serene blue color diesel car was registered in 2013.Police fond some parts of the interior of the car partially burnt, possibly by a lighter. A criminal will not abandon the car if he wanted to loot it," a police officer said.The incident might be an outcome of personal animosity.
