The intersection of Selwyn and Brougham streets in Christchurch, where a person was seriously injured on Wednesday. A person has been seriously injured after a car hit a pedestrian in Addington, Christchurch. Police and St John were called to the intersection of Selwyn and Brougham streets about 2.30pm on Wednesday. St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said one person was taken to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries.
