Car boot sale enthusiasts near a village in Leicestershire got more than they bargained for this morning when a bomb squad robot arrived to detonate a suspicion package in a controlled explosion. The car boot sale organisers later said on Facebook that a 'suspect package that resembled a homemade explosive device was spotted in the car park' and the bomb squad 'carried out a controlled explosion'. He said: 'At first we thought it was just rubbish that had been dumped, as often happens at the car boot. 'Then it turned to disbelief as the bomb squad turned up.
