KUCHING: A man stricken with cancer died on board a Malindo Air flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching this morning. Leukemia sufferer Wong Ho Huah, 46, was confirmed dead by the flight supervisor at 11.10am, while the aircraft was over the South China Sea. Wong, a Sri Aman native, was accompanied by his brother on flight OD 1606 from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Kuching International Airport (KIA). “Initial investigation determined that the victim had died of leukemia, which he was diagnosed with over two years ago. “(The incident has been) classified as sudden death,” Kuching deputy police chief Supt Abang Junaidi Abang Anuar said in a statement today.
