The Canadiens did make a roster move Wednesday, sending defenceman Gustav Olofsson down to the AHL’s Laval Rocket. Olofsson was pointless and minus-4 in three games with the Canadiens after getting called up by the Rocket. Olofsson was called up after Victor Mete was sidelined with an ankle injury that will keep him out for at least two weeks. Meanwhile, goalie Keith Kinkaid, who cleared NHL waivers on Tuesday, practised with the Rocket for the first time on Wednesday morning. Kinkaid is expected to start in goal Wednesday night when the Rocket play the Cleveland Monsters at Place Bell in a 7 p.m. start.
