Drake, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd are just some of the Canadians vying for American Music Awards on Sunday. In fact, the three musicians will compete against each other — and only each other — in the category of favourite male artist — pop/rock. The Toronto artist is also up for favourite male artist - soul R&B. Justin Bieber, seen here on stage in Britain in August, will perform from his world tour in Zurich, Switzerland. Alessia Cara, seen here at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, is up for new artist of the year, running against fellow Canuck Shawn Mendes.
