They’ve been solely focused on having an outdoor game with the Peace Tower as the backdrop. If you’ve never been to an outdoor game in a stadium, they’re pretty neat until the puck drops. The Senators have played one outdoor game in their history — at BC Place stadium against the Vancouver Canucks in the 2013 Heritage Classic. Nobody would have had to buy any fake snow on Parliament Hill in mid-December.
