Canadian families filing lawsuit against Boeing after fatal crash

The families of some Canadians killed in the Ethiopian Airlines crash have filed a lawsuit against Boeing. Lawyers in Chicago filed the suit after a Brampton family lost six members and a man lost his Hamilton wife and three young children. All 157 passengers on the Ethiopian Airlines flight were killed when the Boeing 737 Max 8 crashed March 10, the second fatal crash within five months involving the same plane. They allege Boeing was greedy as it rushed their 737 Max 8 jets to market and claim the company puts profit over safety. The families have also filed a claim against the U.S. Federal Aviation Agency, alleging they enabled the plane’s rush to market.
