Katie Vincent will be going home with a very special souvenir from the first ICF World Cup event of the season. The Mississauga, Ont., canoeist scored a gold medal in Duisberg, Germany on Saturday in the C1 200m event in a time of 46.205 seconds. Langlois won her K1 200m event at the Pan Am Championship and Continental Qualifier in Gainesville, Georgia to secure the Canadian Olympic spot. Mark de Jonge is through to the World Cup A-final in Men's K1 200m. De Jonge finished second in his semi to move onto the 'A' final on Sunday, and a shot at a World Cup medal.
