Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants has announced its fifth annual ranking and a French fine dining spot in Toronto has taken top honours once again. Alo, headed by chef-owner Patrick Kriss, was named best in Canada for the third year running. 65) – was also named Canada’s Most Outstanding Chef. Toronto is home to the most top-ranking restaurants with 26 of the 100. Roughly a quarter (24 per cent) of the restaurants are new to the list for 2019 and of those, 16 are freshly opened spots.
