Canada’s Olympic team for the 2018 Pyeongchang Games hasn’t even been selected yet but already statistical models are projecting a huge medal haul for Canadians. Canada is predicted to win 31 medals, including five gold ones. That’s more medals overall than the Americans at 29 but with just half their projected 10 gold medals. Gleave has projected Canada’s men to still win gold with the women’s team dropping to silver, behind their longtime American rivals. Canada’s medal target for Pyeongchang hasn’t been announced yet.
