With Purbachal being the country’s largest township plan, it has the potential to truly improve residential living for the people of this country. This is the kind of illegal construction that has led previous remodelling of residential areas to failure. Since Purbachal will have 26,000 residential plots, it can be a great addition to the other infrastructural changes that the country has been going through. Purbachal cannot be allowed to suffer the same fate. The fact that illegal construction continues to take place is a stark reminder of weak law enforcement coupled with politically-backed thuggery.
