MONTREAL — Just a few days ago, the Maple Leafs didn’t know Jack. Campbell had been excellent in the third period at the Bell Centre, stopping 15 shots as the Leafs were thoroughly out-played. On the winning goal, Campbell stopped Nick Suzuki on a breakaway only to see Kovalchuk put the rebound in the net. Montreal, dominant throughout the third period, tied the game with less than three minutes to play when Marco Scandella beat Campbell from the point. At the other end, Campbell didn’t see many pucks, but when he did, he was square to each shot.
