He’s taught me many things in just the three years we’ve been friends. In the past few years of heading up the ACTO Edmonton Sun Christmas Charity Auction we’ve never set a public goal. For example, if you go over your goal some could suggest — and rightly so — the target was too low so the event wasn’t successful. And maybe it’s time to attach a target to this year’s auction to test the temperature of our plan and the current philanthropic climate.
