It was alleged that the staff, mostly at the senior level, have accused Dr. Daniel Asare of attempting to overstay his tenure despite hitting the age of 60 on May 31, 2020. Dr Asare responding to the issue in an interview with GhanaWeb said, “…We are in an election year so don’t also think that politics doesn’t play a role. People think that Korle-Bu is very quiet, it will not lean to their benefit.
