CALGARY — A police officer has been shot in northeast Calgary and has been taken to hospital. Police say the man is in stable condition. Police say the “active situation” involving a firearm in the Abbeydale neighbourhood has concluded and the suspect has been found dead. People in the area are now being allowed to leave their homes. No other details have been released.
