The Cairo Criminal Court has delivered ots decisive final verdict in the “Seeds International School” child abuse case, sentencing four defendants to death by hanging. Investigations revealed that the perpetrators exploited administrative negligence and “blind spots” in the school’s surveillance camera coverage to carry out their crimes. The conviction relied heavily on state-of-the-art forensic work by the Forensic Medicine Department and the Ministry of Interior’s Technical Assistance Unit. The Ministry of Education placed the Seeds International School under full financial and administrative supervision. All administrative officials at the school were referred for investigation on charges of gross negligence for failing to protect students within the school premises.
