The cabinet secretary said the cabinet expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Chawkbazar fire victims and Polan Sarker, and prayed for them. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina supervised overall measures like arranging appropriate compensation, distributing bodies and also arranging their burial and ensuring proper treatment for the injured in Chawkbazar fire, he said. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina participated as panel discussant in roundtables “Health in Crises- WHO Cares” and “Climate Change and Security: Too Hot to Handle?” in the Munich Security Council during her last Germany tour. During her UAE visit from Feb 17-19, the premier attended the opening session of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX-2019) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
