CRI said it hosted a varied assortment of events including a comic contest, participated by around 70 school goers, at the auditorium of Bangbandhu Museum in the capital's Dhanmondi. Earlier in the morning, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana, during their stay at the museum, visited the auditorium. They appreciated the efforts put in by CRI to introduce Bangabandhu to younger generations through animation. The visitors to the Bangabandhu Museum were entertained with the screening of a puppet show unravelling the story behind an eye surgery that young Mujib had undergone and started using glasses. “Hasina: A Daughter’s Tale”, a historical docudrama on the life of the prime minister, and the daughter of Bangabandhu, was screened twice inside the museum.
