Gujarat has a total of 522 designated private hospitals where the vaccination drive will be held from March 1. Such beneficiaries will be administered COVID-19 vaccines free of cost in PHCs, CHCs, sub-district and district hospitals, hospitals of medical colleges as well as civil hospitals. The second phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive in India, covering 10 crore people across the country will start from Monday. In India, the vaccination drive started on January 16. In the first phase of vaccination, the healthcare and frontline workers were vaccinated.
