With demand for COVID-19 testing soaring and capacity reaching its limits, Nova Scotia is imposing new restrictions on who gets tested for the virus, a major shift for a province that prides itself on a widespread testing regime. Regular, daily, asymptomatic tests to check infection status are not tenable with Nova Scotia’s current offering of rapid tests, Strang said.
