Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao has charged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of making factually “incorrect” remarks on “sensitive” national issues like ‘SIR’ without adequate understanding. He advised Mr. Reddy that since he was the Chief Minister, he must show greater responsibility while commenting on matters of national significance. He reminded him of Mr. Reddy’s earlier defeat to a BJP candidate when he was the PCC president and the BJP’s recent win in the Graduates MLC seat he once held. Responding to the CM’s remarks against industrialists, the BJP leader stated that Mr. Revanth Reddy himself met Mukesh Ambani after assuming office and demanded that details of those meetings be made public. The public support for Prime Minister Modi continues to grow, and said the Congress Party’s “baseless allegations” will not alter the public mood, he maintained.
