The Port Trust official also briefed the Chief Minister about the various projects at the port. The delegation from the Port Trust was led by its Chairman G. Senthilvel. The condition of the LNG terminal resulted in losses to the State government as well as the Port Trust. The Chief Minister promised the support of the State government in resolving the LNG pipeline issue as a priority, said the release. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who interacted with a delegation of senior officials from the Cochin Port Trust at his office in Thiruvananthapuram, assured them that the State government was committed to supporting the operations of the port.
