CK Hutchison said it has no ownership, or relationship with Hutchison Optel Telecom Technology, which is included in a list of companies with alleged military ties published by the United States Commerce Department. CK said it had sold all its shares in Hutchison Optel five years ago, and that the company has subsequently changed its name and no longer carries the “Hutchison” brand. The Trump administration on Monday published a list of Chinese and Russian companies with alleged military ties that restrict them from buying a wide range of US goods and technology.
