In another notice, CJP summons health, medical colleges’ senior officialsFollowing the angry commuters’ action against the blockade of a road on Friday in Karachi, Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has taken a suo motu notice of the frequent blockade of roads for VVIP movement all over the country. Taking the notice on Monday, the chief justice ordered the authorities concerned to submit a report on the matter. The practice adds to the woes of public and enables, in fact, strengthens the VVIP culture in the country. In Karachi on Friday, Karachiites forced traffic police to re-open the busy Shahrah-e-Quaideen, which had been blocked to accommodate VVIP movement. He has also directed government-run hospitals’ and medical colleges’ senior officials to appear before the court on Jan 13 (Saturday) at the Supreme Court Branch Registry, Karachi.
