He made the statement, on Tuesday, while briefing the returning officers and executive magistrates for the Dhaka North City Corporation mayoral by-polls plus Dhaka North and Dhaka South City Corporation polls. He said: “Make the city corporation polls as fair as the general polls [held on December 30, 2018]. “During the general polls, I saw that the candidates did not protest when a junior magistrate fined them. They also pledged not to repeat their mistakes.”He urged election officials to carry out their duties as per the law.
