CHENNAI: The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the 10th edition of central teacher eligibility test in 851 centres across India and in 91 cities abroad on Sunday.A total of 6.53 lakh candidates took the test, a statement from CBSE said. The board had deployed 851 centre superintendents, 1824 observers , and 527 CBSE representatives for conducting this examination.The question papers were reported by students to be set as per the syllabus prescribed and was well balanced.
