Chinese engineering company, CBMI, has recently received a couple of orders from North Africa. The first was signed on 21 March with LafargeHolcim for the supply of a new cement grinding plant in Morocco. This was followed on 28 March by the signing of a contract with Algeria ASEC Cement Co. for the construction of a cement production line in Algeria. The LafargeHolcim contract will see CBMI supply a grinding plant southeast of Agadir, Morocco. It is the latest in a number of projects won by CBMI in Algeria, following contracts with LafargeHolcim, GICA Group, Biskria Group, and Kougc Group.
