The new YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh has decided to restore the General Consent order of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to carry out their official duties in the state. In November 2018, former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had withdrawn the same as he had strained his relationship with the Centre. However, now, our Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has restored the General Consent. Also, our Chief Minister has firmly said he will not leave thieves. Currently, Chandrababu Naidu's trusted aide Y Sujana Chaudhary, a Rajya Sabha MP, is facing CBI investigation in a few cases.
