Share TweetBy Leslie Ann AquinoThe head of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has offered prayers for the victims of the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that hit several parts of the country Monday. “We pray that those injured and lost properties will be comforted,” Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles told CBCP News. The CBCP head also lauded those who went to rescue and helped those people in the damage areas. Several dioceses also offered prayers for the earthquake victims such as the Diocese of Balanga in Bataan.
