special is a chance for players on the Lakehead University Thunderwolves hockey team to experience 'something different' in advance of their 2016-2017 regular season, says the school's athletics director. Tom Warden was a guest on CBC Thunder Bay's Superior Morning on Tuesday. The fast-paced, three-period game will feature the blue and white Thunderwolves teams competing in full uniform with officials on the ice, and all the touches of a regular season game, including the fully-lit scoreboard, in-arena music, the singing of O Canada and Wolfie. Finally, the CBC Blue vs. White trophy will be on the line. The Lakehead Thunderwolves kick off their season September 30 against the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns.
