The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) said it has clarified its position on the controversial Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) as it disclosed that it has not approached the current National Assembly for amendments. CAN said CAMA is not a product of this ninth Assembly but the previous National Assembly. “It is our expectations that the current National Assembly will correct the blunders called amendments,” the statement noted. “It is because of the trust that we have in the current National Assembly that is making CAN taking part in the ongoing Public Hearing for the Constitutional Amendment.
